Since childhood, I have suffered from a clotting disorder, which meant I needed to take additional medications and hormones to manage my bleeding, especially after puberty. I am 27 years old and have been married for six years. Since the second year of our marriage, we’ve been longing to have a child. I did conceive naturally once, but sadly, we lost the baby at 8 weeks due to bleeding.

Despite trying for a long time afterward, I couldn’t get pregnant. The tests didn’t show any major issues; my husband’s sperm had slight morphological abnormalities, but even after three rounds of IUI, I couldn’t conceive. I also received supplemental treatment before the egg retrieval procedure, and thankfully, the operation went smoothly.

We decided not to proceed with the transfer immediately after the procedure and instead froze 7 embryos—all of excellent quality. During the embryo development process, the embryology lab kept me updated daily with detailed information.

Now, we’re waiting for my body to recover and prepare for the transfer. We’re giving my uterus some time to rest.
